Azure Virtual Machine Agent Installation Requirements

Installing the VSA agent on an Azure Virtual Machine requires the following:

1. The virtual machine is running an agent-compatible OS, details here Azure Virtual Machine agent deployment permissions (http://www., https://help.kaseya.com/WebHelp/EN/VSA/9050000/reqs/index.asp#home.htm) .
2. The following permissions are enabled:
   • MicrosoftCompute/virtualMachines/extensions Read permission
   • MicrosoftCompute/virtualMachines/extensions Write permission
   • MicrosoftCompute/virtualMachines/extensions Delete permission

Note: The above permissions are inherited by default if utilizing the 'Owner' role during configuration.
