The Mount page mounts backup images onto a selected machine on the same LAN as the storage location.
Select a machine ID.
Select a profile. Only profiles with completed backup images for a selected machine ID are shown on this page for you to select.
Click Mount Backup. A dialog wizard begins. It displays the list of completed backup images available.
Select a backup date and time to mount.
Select the destination machine to mount the backup on. The selected machine must be on the same LAN as the storage location.
Specify the credentials used to access the mounted image. Either use the credential specified by the profile or or specify new credentials.
Select the A to Z drive letter the mounted image will use on the destination machine.
Note: The System Backup and Recovery > Images > Backup History > Mount History tab logs the outcome of backup mount attempts.
Note: Machines IDs only display on this page if System Backup and Recovery has been installed. The list of machines displayed depends on the machine ID / group ID filter and the user's scope.
Actions
Mount Backups - Mounts a completed backup image.
Unmount Backups - Unmounts a backup image. You must select the volume letter to unmount.
