Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2
NET Framework 3.5 is required on all systems.
Memory - The amount of random access memory (RAM) that’s required depends on many factors, including the requirements of other services, the size of frequently accessed content files, and the RAM requirements of Add-on Connectors. In most installations, it is recommended that you use at least 2 gigabyte (GB) of RAM. High-volume servers should have a minimum of 2 to 4 GB of RAM.
Disk drives - BYOD gateway itself takes less than 15 MB of disk space. The additional data storage capacity required depends entirely on the size of your gateway's content files, configuration files, system files and virtual memory.
Supports single processor or multiple processor installation.
Installed as a service and includes support for AD/LDAP integration and .NET Framework. Support for x86 is required for some components.
Browsers
The BYOD gateway Control Panel can be accessed using the latest versions of IE, Chrome, Safari, and FireFox browsers.
Ports
Port 443 is the outbound port used by a gateway to communicate with the relay service over SSL. There is no inbound port for relay connection.
Port 8080 is the inbound default port for portal (mobile device) access when using direct connection. If you're using the direct connection, you need to allow inbound connections on that port. It can be setup for HTTP or HTTPS, depending on whether the gateway has a valid SSL certificate installed.
Port 1456 is the inbound default port for Control Panel access. Open this port to allow remote access to the BYOD gateway Control Panel.
