Traverse has a built-in monitor to simulate a user logging in to a web site, filling in a form or clicking on a series of links and expect to see the complete transaction similar to an end user. This is different from the HTTP/HTTPS monitors which just test downloading of a single page, since this monitor can walk through a complete series of pages like a user transaction.
