Import from Active Directory

The Import devices from LDAP page discovers devices by searching an Active Directory server or LDAP server.

LDAP configuration

• Username / Password - Specify credentials that permit reading the LDAP server.
• LDAP server - Specify the name or IP address of the LDAP server.
• Directory entry - Use LDAP directory syntax to specify the top level directory to start searching for devices. Example: dc=Company,dc=com
• Perform lookup - Click to begin the search.

Discovered devices

• Select devices - Displays devices discovered in the LDAP server.
• Notification group - Specifies the user group to be notified about the import.
• Group / Selected groups - Assign the imported devices to a selected group. Enter text to display the names of groups in the Group list that match the text entered. Only one group can be selected. Click the Add button to add the group to the Selected groups list. You can also click the Select button to browse for target groups.
