Run knmsetup.exe and select Options > Install Utilities before continuing with the install.

Starting the map editor

After the install click the <KaseyaInstallDirectory>\knm\dme.exe to run the Dashboard Map Editor. You can also start dme using the Kaseya > KNM program group in the start menu.

Logging into the Dashboard Map Editor

After the Dashboard Map Editor application has been started you are presented with a logon screen.

Use a Network Monitor system administrator user account to logon to the Dashboard Map Editor. It's recommended that a specific system administrator account be created for the purpose of editing maps, although you can use an existing system administrator account as well.

Note: You cannot be logged on to the Network Monitor web interface and the Dashboard Map Editor using the same account at the same time.

Fill in the user username and password, enter the address to the Network Monitor server and optionally the port number and click the OK button.
