Backup ProfilesThe Backup Profiles page defines online backup configuration profiles. Each backup profile represents a different set of enabled or disabled online backup options, including file types and file locations to be backed up. Include and exclude rules can be defined by file type. Excluded files and folders have precedence over included files and folders. Changes to an online backup profile affect all machine IDs assigned that online backup profile. Typically different types of machines require different online backup profiles. A sample online profile is provided for you. You can't change a sample profile, but you can save it under a new name and make changes to the copy. Online backup profile options include bandwidth throttling. Retention Policy All backups are kept for at least 30 days. After a backup is 30 days old, KOB deletes it, unless it is the latest backup. KOB always keeps the latest backup no matter how old it is. Actions
