Typically an organization is a customer, but an organization could also be a business partner. There is also an internal organization for VSA users using the VSA called MyOrg. Most user defined objects in the VSA belong to an organization. Every managed machine, managed device and VSA user belongs to an organization. They are optionally associated with scopes, tickets and service desks.
