New Features

  • The 'showPassword' parameter included with various API methods to reveal credentials can now only be used when logging in as an admin user.
  • The width of the date/time column in a raw test result view has been increased for improved usability.
  • The option to identify the topology between devices is now enabled by default when creating a new network discovery job.
  • The credential selection workflow, when creating a new network discovery job, has been improved.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where VMware tests discovered via a vCenter instance would not return valid test results.
  • Improved the performance of summary views when a large number of devices are assigned as members of containers.
  • An error message pop-up no longer appears in the device details view, when no flow data for the device is available.
  • Fixed an issue where an empty component was shown on the printed copy of a dashboard.
  • Event processing rule files are again loaded in the proper (increasing) order to restore compatibility with earlier versions.
  • Fixed a cosmetic error message that was shown when invoking the checkDgeThreads.pl tool.
  • Fixed a condition where the DGE could exhaust available memory while processing call detail records from Cisco Call Manager.
  • Links for devices from the department management view now apply the correct filter.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented a bulk configuration update workflow across multiple tests.
  • License related issues detected on a DGE/DGEx now log a warning message.
  • Fixed an issue with the advanced port test, when a send/expect string is specified.
  • Fixed an issue that affected the ability to select credentials when enabling process data collection.
  • Fixed an issue with the plug-in action that uses the ${device_snmp_cid} variable, when triggered for a device that does not have any SNMP tests configured.
  • Restored the ability to delete a single network discovery job by selecting the appropriate option from the action menu.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented recurring discovery jobs from being created.
  • Fixed an issue where device credentials were not being used properly when running a network discovery.
