Antivirus (Classic) (v1.3.0.0) - 21 March 2012

Kaspersky Enterprise Workstation 6.0.4.1424

In Antivirus (Classic) 1.3, workstations are installed and optionally upgraded to Kaspersky Enterprise Workstation 6.0.4.1424. The server product is already at this version number and remains unchanged. Prior to Antivirus (Classic) 1.3, workstations were installed using Kaspersky 2010 (9.0.0.747).

Upgrade Client Version

A new Install > Upgrade Client Version option displays in the Control Panel. Selecting this option upgrades selected machines to the latest version of Antivirus (Classic) client, providing an earlier version of the client is already installed on the machine.

Upgrade Ready Column Set

A new Upgrade Ready column set identifies machines installed with out-of-date Antivirus (Classic) clients. The column set also displays the latest version of Antivirus (Classic) client available for upgrade. Use this column set to quickly select the machines you want to upgrade.

Supports Anti-Spam Protection

Integrates with the mail client installed on your computer, and monitors all incoming email messages for spam. All messages containing spam are marked with a special header. The component also analyzes email messages to detect phishing. Applies to workstation version 6.0.4.1424 and later.

Supports Anti-Spy Protection

Intercepts dialers attempting to establish a connection with pay-per-use websites and blocks them. Applies to workstation version 6.0.4.1424 and later.

Supports Access Control

Prevents the autorunning of applications and devices. Applies to workstation version 6.0.4.1424 and later.

Enables Password Protection

Password protection on clients is enabled by default. This prevents unauthorized attempts by endpoint users to disable protection, change the settings, or uninstall the application. Password protection can be manually disabled on the endpoint, if necessary, by using a Kaseya provided password.
