Anti-Malware (Classic) |
Kaseya Anti-Malware (Classic) 3.0 (KAM) is a new module that integrates Malwarebytes Anti-Malware endpoint security with the Kaseya framework. Anti-Malware (Classic) software focuses on the prevention of spyware and adware instead of viruses. Malware includes "fake" anti-virus products that are difficult and time-consuming to remove from computers. Anti-Malware (Classic) can be installed independently of Kaseya Endpoint Security (KES) or Kaseya Antivirus (KAV). |
Endpoint Licensing |
One or more monthly or annual Anti-Malware (Classic) licenses are issued to each endpoint. If licensing is removed from an endpoint before an entire period of licensing is used, the remaining time for that license period can be applied to other endpoints. Automatic extension of endpoint licensing is provided as an option. |
Install/Uninstall |
An Install/Uninstall function, accessible from several places throughout the Anti-Malware (Classic) module, installs and uninstalls the Anti-Malware (Classic) client on selected managed machines. Install options, such as selecting the install directory, are available. |
Anti-Malware (Classic) Configuration Profiles |
Anti-Malware (Classic) configuration profiles are provided. Each Anti-Malware (Classic) profile represents a different set of enabled or disabled Anti-Malware (Classic) options. Changes to an Anti-Malware (Classic) profile affect all machine IDs assigned that Anti-Malware (Classic) profile. Typically different types of machines or networks require different Anti-Malware (Classic) profiles. A sample profile is provided for you. Statistics are provide for the number of machines assigned each profile. Profiles assigned to machines can be viewed via column sets. |
Scanning on Demand |
Endpoints scanning for malware can be scheduled or run immediately, by profile or by individual machine. Almost all threats are resolved automatically. Outstanding threats are listed on the Detections page and may require manual intervention. |
Anti-Malware (Classic) Definition Updates |
Updates to Anti-Malware (Classic) definitions are downloaded to managed endpoints automatically and can be updated manually between automatic downloads. Downloading of updates using a specified "file source" is supported. Supports updating by proxy. |
Dashboards |
Dashboards provide a graphic view of the status of all machines using Kaseya Anti-Malware (Classic), including top detections, machines with detections, license breakdown, and installation status. Dashboard "parts" can be added for customized dashboard views. |
Threat Management |
Display identified malware threats by machine, name of threat, time of detection, status of threat, type of threat and path location of the threat. |
Column Sets |
Columns sets provide instant selection of the appropriate pre-defined columns for a given task. Individual columns can be added to any set. |
