New Features

  • The local network subnet is automatically determined when creating a new network discovery job.
  • Updated Java Runtime to include latest signing authorities for SSL certificates.
  • Multiple usability improvements have been implemented while creating or updating network discovery jobs.
  • Newest status message for a running network discovery job is now shown at the top of the status panel.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a database performance issue that was triggered by the local time on one or more DGE extensions being out of sync.
  • Fixed an issue with NetFlow reporting when a DGE extension is restricted to specific department.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent a DGE extension from initializing after a subnet object was deleted.
  • Fixed a Web Application out of memory error when running a 'last month' SLA report with an incorrect time zone.
  • Fixed an issue where the URL for the link to edit monitor configuration for an existing device was incorrect.
  • Ability to enable or disable process data collection from SNMP or WMI enabled devices via the BVE API has been restored.

  • Fixed an issue that affected a discovery job when it was changed from one time to recurring and vice versa.
  • Fixed an issue that would make the location of a DGE extension limited to the specific department available to all during network discovery.
  • Fixed an issue with network discovery where a job could fail due to an error parsing the local date/time in a non-US time zone.
  • Fixed an issue where network discovery jobs were creating empty shared credential objects.
  • An option to delete an individual device has been added to the action menu under device management view, in addition to the existing bulk delete capability.
  • DNS lookup during network discovery will now be disabled if more than 15 successive queries take longer than 6 seconds to complete.
  • Increased logging severity for LoggingInInterceptor and LoggingOutInterceptor to WARN.
  • The URL Transaction monitor has been updated to support web sites that are using TLS v1.2 encryption protocol.
  • Fixed a regression issue which affected monitoring of existing tests for Amazon Web Services.
  • Fixed an issue related to historical performance charts where partial data was omitted when selection was made using the strip chart area.
