Backup (v3.2.0.0) - 22 October 2010

Backup (v3.2.0.0) - 22 October 2010

Backup (BUDR) 3.2 is now available on an as needed basis for customers requiring the following enhancements.

Kaseya BUDR Local UI

As of this date, a Kaseya BUDR Local UI installs in the background on each end-point that has the backup client installed. With this version you can:

  • Verify folder and volume backup.
  • Mount volume backups that you wish to restore from.
  • Restore all files from a folder backup.
  • Convert volume backups to a virtual hard disk.

The Kaseya BUDR Local UI is typically located:

  • On 32-bit machines at c:\Program Files\Acronis\TrueImageServer\BUDRLocalUI.exe
  • On 64-bit machines at c:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageServer\BUDRLocalUI.exe

Backup (v3.2.0.0) - 13 August 2010

Support for Win 7 and 2008 R2

Support added for backup of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 machines.

Acronis 9.7-8319

Uses Acronis 9.7-8319, which addresses VSS technology issues.

Note: Installing Kaseya BUDR 3.2 on your Kaseya Server does not require that you upgrade all of your endpoints. You should upgrade only the endpoints that require the enhancements provided with the Kaseya BUDR 3.2 release.

Note: Acronis 9.7-8319 no longer supports a local User Interface (UI). If you are reliant on the Acronis UI, you should not upgrade at this time. A subsequent Kaseya BUDR release will be available in the next few weeks which will include a new Kaseya Local UI.

Mounting Backup Selection

You can select the drives to include when mounting a volume backup using Explore Volumes.
