Network Monitor (v4.1.0.0) - 7 March 2012

VMware Monitor

A new VMware monitor connects to a VMware host or a vCenter server and can monitor a wide selection of performance counters.

  • Supports ESX 4.1 & ESXi 5.
  • Makes no changes to the target VMware host machine.
  • Supports most performance counters devices, such as hosts, datastores, and virtualstores. VMware counters for guests (virtual machines) are not supported.

Integrated Windows Authentication

Integrated Windows Authentication is now supported, along with the previously supported NTLM-based single sign-on method. With single sign-on you don't have to logon separately to Network Monitor after you logon to the domain.

Directory Property Monitor Includes Subdirectories

The Directory Property monitor now has an option to include sub directories of the selected directory in the test.

Clear Table Option

A new option enables you to clear existing data in database tables before exporting statistical data to an external SQL database. Located on the Network Monitor > Events > Export Statistics page.

Filtering Downtime Report Items by Time Range

The downtime report item in a report can now be filtered by time range. For example, only data between 08.00 to 17.00 is considered. Data outside this time range is ignored.

Importing Monitor Sets and SNMP Sets

An option to import Kaseya monitor sets and SNMP sets was introduced in Network Monitor 4.0. To use this option select Objects > Other Lists > Object Template List > Import.
