Hovering the cursor over a check-in icon for a Windows based agent while holding down the ALT key displays an agent LiveView window. You can use LiveView to do the following :
View asset information, including real-time performance data and desktop thumbnail.
Start a Kaseya Remote Control or Live Connect session.
Launch an agent procedure
View Windows event logs in real time.
View and manage services and processes in real time.
Transfer files to and from the agent machine
Overview
Live View provides quick access to important asset information, live performance matrices and open alarms.
Asset Information - Displays important asset data from audits, network scans and agent check-in.
Remote Desktop - Displays a thumbnail image of the machine's desktop (console session). To gain remote access, use the connect widget to start a Remote Control session.
Disk Volumes - Displays disk volumes and free up space , as of the most recent audit .
Performance - Displays current real-time Ram and CPU utilization .
Alerting - Displays number of open alerts and alarms . Include click-through links to Alarm Summary page with machine-filter applied.
Top 5 Processes - Real Time view showing current top 5 processes . By default, it's sorted by CPU utilization (highest to lowest) . Click on the column headers to change the sort orders , for example if you want to see top 5 by memory utilization instead of CPU
Last 5 System Events - Displays the last 5 events from the Windows System event log.
Events
Live View provides real time access to windows event logs , sorted by date/time (newest to oldest) . Click on the column headers to change the sort order.
Processes
Real time view of running processes with current resource utilization. Clicking on the column headers changes the sort order. Filter by Name can be used to quickly locate a specific process.
To remotely stop a process , hover over the row and click on .
Services
Real time view of installed Windows services. Clicking on the column headers changes the sort order. Filter by Name can be used to quickly locate a specific service.
To remotely manage a service, hover over the row and click on . From here you can start or stop the service, change its start-up type, or view properties.
Files
Browse the file system on the agent machine and transfer files to and from the administrator's local machine.
Clicking on a folder name navigates to that folder.
Use the Back widget to return to the previous folder.
Use Search Files or Folders locate specific files or folders within the currently selected folders (does not include sub-folders).
Upload- transfer a file from administrators local machine to the currently selected folder on the agent machine.
Create Folder - creates a new sub folder in the currently selected folder.
Transfers - show any file transfer that are in progress or completed within the current Live View session.
When a file or a sub-folder is selected, the following operations are available :
Download - transfers the selected file or folder to the downloads folder on the administrator's local machine. If a folder is selected it will be downloaded in a zip file.
Delete - deletes the selected file or folder. A prompt will be displayed to check that the deletion was intended.
Move - moves the file or folder to a selected folder on the agent machine.
Copy - creates a new copy of the file or folder within the same parent folder.
Rename - renames the selected file or folder.
Send to Zip File - archives the selected file or folder to a zip file within the same parent folder. (Note: it may be visible after refreshing the folder content) . This can be used to avoid transfer of large files.
Commands
Run Windows command shell or Powershell commands on the agent machine.
Up and down arrows can be used to access command history.
Powershell also supports using Tab key to type ahead.
Select All - selects all content from current command window . Alternatively, you can use mouse to select the partial content.
Copy to Clipboard – copies currently selected content to clipboard of administrator’s machine.
Connect
Use the Connect widget to start a Live Connect or Remote Control session to the agent.
Agent Procedures
Use the Agent Procedures widget to launch an agent procedure or bookmark it for later use.
All Procedures – browse the agent procedure folder structure . Hover over a procedure and click to launch it, or to bookmark it.
Run Now - displays bookmarked procedures. Hover over a procedure and click to launch it, or to remove the bookmark.
