IP Info

The IP Info page displays the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway (internal) and connection gateway (external), connection country and MAC address for machine IDs matching the current Machine ID / Group ID filter. Information shown in this function is collected when a Latest Audit is performed.

Note: The connection gateway is the public IP address the outside world sees when a machine connects from a private LAN behind a NAT gateway. Typically the public IP address is the address on the WAN side of the NAT gateway.

You can filter the display of machine IDs on any agent page using the Connection gateway filter and IP address filter options in View Definitions.

Check-in status

These icons indicate the agent check-in status of each managed machine:

Online but waiting for first audit to complete

Agent online

Agent online and user currently logged on. Icon displays a tool tip showing the logon name.

Agent online and user currently logged on, but user not active for 10 minutes

Agent is currently offline

Agent has never checked in

Agent is online but remote control has been disabled

The agent has been suspended

Machine.Group ID

The list of Machine.Group IDs displayed is based on the Machine ID / Group ID filter and the machine groups the user is authorized to see using System > User Security > Scopes.

IP Address

Lists the IP address assigned to the managed machine.

Subnet Mask

Lists the subnet mask that the IP address belongs to.

Default Gateway/Connection Gateway

Lists the default gateway and connection gateway in use by the managed machine.

Country

The country associated with the Default Gateway/Connection Gateway.

MAC Address

Lists the Media Access Control (MAC) address of the machine listed, which uniquely identifies each node on a network.
