You can save search filters by name to a new Favorite Filters page in the Home module. You can edit, copy, rename and delete existing Favorite Filters. To use one, select the Home > Favorite Filters page and click a filter. The corresponding page will display, using the search filter you selected.
Admin Module
Companies can now use their own SMTP mail servers. Select the Admin > My Company > Company Settings > SMTP Config tab. Set the new option 'Use Custom SMTP Settings' to Yes. Configure your custom Outgoing Mail Server. This forces your instance of BMS to send all outgoing email and notifications through your company's mail server instead of the default SMTP server.
Service Desk Module
The Service Desk > Assets Management > Hardware Assets page has been updated to include all hardware asset field data supported by Kaseya VSA. These field values are initially populated when a VSA is integrated with your instance of BMS. They continue to be synchronized from then on.
A new Related Tickets tab has been added to tickets. Clicking a related ticket opens the ticket in a new window or tab, enabling you to work on related tickets in tandem.
Finance Module
You can exclude selected roles and work types from a contract, using a new Exclusions tab. If hours are reported using the excluded role, the hours are reported against a 'Default Fallback Contract'.
On the Contract Information tab of a contract, you can now override the default value set for the 'Issue Invoice on' field, either 'Start of Billing Cycle' or 'End of Billing Cycle'. Previously this value was fixed for all contracts in your company. The default is set using the Admin > Company Settings > Invoice tab.
