Agent - Linux Agents

Added support for Linux Agents. Functionality includes:

  • Agent procedures
  • Latest audits, baselines audits and system audits
  • Remote control with VNC
  • Reset Password
  • LAN Watch and Install Agents - Scan local area network for new machines and installation of agents using Install Agents. A Linux machine must be used as the discovery agent to install an agent on another Linux machine using Install Agents.

Agent Procedures - Global Variables

Previous to this release, a child procedure could not return a changed value of a procedure variable defined by its parent procedure. Variables initialized in the child procedure also could not be passed back to the parent. With this release, variables named with the prefix GLOBAL: (case-insensitive followed by a colon) can pass changed values from the child to the parent, whether the variable is initialized in the parent or the child procedure. Subsequent child procedures can makes use of any GLOBAL: procedure variable initialized in any earlier step, regardless of whether that global variable is initialized in a parent procedure or another child procedure.

Live Connect - Desktop Access for Macintosh

  • On a Mac OSX Leopard or Snow Leopard, you can use Desktop Access in Live Connect to remote control a Windows system using Firefox or Safari.
  • On a Windows System using any of our supported browsers you can use Desktop Access to remote control a Mac OSX Leopard or Snow Leopard system.
  • Does not include a thumbnail preview image of the desktop in Live Connect.

System - Manage - Orgs and Scopes

Correction to the Org/Scopes & All in Scope stored procedures to correct edge test case scenarios

System - Name Policy

Name policy processing now stops after finding the first match based on IP address range or connection gateway, regardless of whether an actual name change results when processing the entry. This change prevents a machine from bouncing between groups when multiple name policies have the same IP address range or connection gateway. The Kaseya Server processes name policies in alphabetical order.

System - Reapply Schema

Improved detection and waiting for DB schema reapply to complete after an update or fresh install.

System - Kserver Agent

An agent is automatically installed on the Kaseya Server.

Database Views - vMachine
