Non-proxied link to an external Web site

Selecting the Non-proxied link to an external Web site option enables you to add the the URL of a website that is directly accessible to a devices network connection. See Proxied and Non-proxied Links.

• Title - Enter a name for this menu item.

  Note: The Gateway URL mount point is no longer supported and should not be used.

• URL - Enter a URL.
  • The URL must be available to the mobile user without using a BYOD gateway proxy.
  • The site content must be supported by the client's browser. Confirm the sites will work on the mobile device browser before attempting connection through a non-proxied link. For example, sites that use ActiveX or Flash will require support not available on iOS or Android browsers.
• Save item setup - Select to add this item to the current menu.
