Setting Golden image

Perform the following steps to set a machine as golden image.

1. Navigate to Agent > Agents > Manage Agents.

The Manage Agents page is displayed.

1. Hover your mouse pointer over a column name.

The drop-down icon beside the column name is displayed.

1. Click .

The column drop-down menu is displayed.

1. Hover your mouse pointer over Columns.

The columns window is displayed.

1. Click and scroll down till VDI.
2. Click the check box beside VDI.

The VDI column is displayed on the Manage Agents page.

1. Select the machine on which you want to set golden image.
2. Click the Manage drop-down list.

The manage options are displayed.

1. Click VDI configuration.

The VDI configuration window is displayed.

1. Select either Match on MAC address or Match on Machine name option.

By default, the Match on MAC address option is selected.

1. Click Set as golden image.

The machine's status displays as Golden image under the VDI column.

NOTE: VDI configuration can only be implemented on Windows machine and not on Mac or Linux machine.
