Integrations
This release adds the following integrations:
IT Glue Integration - Love IT Glue? Love BMS? Then you’re going to love this:
This release features an amazing new integration to IT Glue that allows IT Documentation to be viewed and edited within BMS! From any Ticket, a single click reveals IT Glue documentation for the Asset, Account, Contact, and Location associated with the Ticket. Attachments, embedded passwords, related items, notes and revisions are shown.
Asset notes can be edited, embedded passwords can be viewed and copied to the clipboard, and related items can be added, edited or deleted - all without losing your place in BMS or fumbling between multiple windows.
IT Glue documentation is also available via a single click from any Account, Contact, or Asset.
To use this new integration, first enable the 2-way sync in IT Glue. Then enable the integration under Admin > My Company > IT Glue Settings. As each employee clicks IT Glue for the first time, they are prompted for their IT Glue credentials, and the power of IT Glue is unleashed in full accordance with the IT Glue security model.
VOIP Integration - This release also includes a new VOIP integration. Incoming calls from known Contacts automatically display a pop-up window showing Contact details and offering the ability to create a Ticket pre-populated with Account and Contact details. Outbound calls can be directly initiated while viewing the contact details on a ticket. Initially the VOIP integration supports the Cytracom VOIP solution, and other VOIP providers will be considered in the future. The VOIP integration can be enabled under Admin > My Company > Cytracom Integration, and each Employee can enter their Cytracom credentials to activate the calling capabilities.
Enhancements
This release adds the following enhancements:
REST API - Inventory Products - Added an API that enables the use of OData queries to retrieve data.
Tickets - Added a new configuration option to display a link to the RMM Server on tickets.
Tickets - The form for Service Desk tickets has been enhanced with the following:
Added Technician Name and Customer Name fields.
The customer's full address now displays in the Location area.
UI - The Login page and top navigation bar have been updated with a clean new look.
Note: Your customizable business logo (if configured) will now be displayed on a white background on the Login page. For this reason you may want to upload a dark version of your logo.
Fixes
This release includes the following bug fixes:
Attachments - PRN files can now be uploaded successfully.
Client Portal - Fixed an issue where the password notification email was not being sent upon creating a new client portal from an agent.
CRM -
Account - Fixed an issue where an error displayed when attempting to copy address information by clicking Copy From Billing on the Main Address Info tab.
Service Types - Fixed an issue where more than one default service type could be created.
Email Parser -
Fixed an issue where the Created On Date was incorrect when adding notes with attachments.
Fixed a ticket detail display issue in email sent from Office 365.
Exago - Fixed an issue where the timezone for report schedules was not being adjusted properly for daylight savings time.
Invoices - Fixed an issue where the Invoice Date could be incorrect due to referencing the incorrect timezone.
My Expense Reports - Fixed an issue where an error displayed when attempting to submit an expense report for approval.
Project Management -
Fixed an issue where inverted commas were not displaying correctly in Project Notes.
Fixed an issue that prevented sub tasks from being added to a task.
REST API -
Fixed an issue where the ticket workflow was not being triggered upon adding a note to a ticket.
Corrected the REST API documentation to indicate that requests are throttled to accept a maximum of 500 requests per hour per endpoint. Added details about using paging to bundle up to 100 objects per request, which results in a capacity of 50,000 objects per hour.
Fixed an issue where the POST/PUT Services APIs were not updating the API modified date.
RMM Integration -
Fixed an issue where mapped accounts could not be deleted if the account name contained only numbers.
Alerts that are sent when a VSA organization is added to BMS now include the Default Service Type.
Fixed an issue where the incorrect default Client Location was used for assets that were added from VSA.
Service Quotations - Fixed a display issue in the product Search and Select window.
Tickets -
The Sender Email is now updated to Unknown if the email address is invalid.
Fixed an issue where the Start Time and End Time were not calculated correctly after the ticket timer had been paused.
