Exporting object templates

Object template definitions can be exported to definition files in XML format, that can be shared between Network Monitor users. Exported object template data never contains any private information, such as usernames or passwords. The information included in the exported data is for monitor configurations, but excludes authentication settings.

First open the object template list and click the object template to be exported. Then from the Object template information view, select the Export command. Network Monitor displays an .xml file with the exported information in a browser. The file can then be shared with other users.
